CommunityWalk.com Map
I updated the CityProwl Cleveland CommunityWalk Map to include the Arcades Prowl, with pictures. You can check the map out to see the tour route, starting & ending points and note interesting images along the way. The CityProwl map is one of the top 50 maps (out of over 18,500!) on the CommunityWalk website. Who knew?

CityProwl Cleveland: Episode Two - Cleveland's Arcades - The Diamonds of Euclid Avenue
The second episode of CityProwl Cleveland features a stroll through the 3 downtown arcades: the Old Arcade, the Colonial Arcade and the Euclid Arcade. Cleveland stands alone among US cities for having not 1 but 3 of these building types, and the Old Arcade is admired around the world for its beauty, gigantic scale and cutting edge technology. Find out more about arcades in general, how Cleveland happened to build these jewels and their current status. The prowl lasts about 25 minutes. Meet in the Old Arcade, in front of the 1980 Coffee Shop, which is located under the stairs near the Superior Avenue entrance.

What a Month!

Lots of great things have occured since CityProwl launched at the beginning of the month! I have met lots of great people around town who are giving me awesome feedback. I am getting started on the next tour of Cleveland's Arcades next week. The first newsletter should be coming out at the beginning of August.
